Warren your videos are extremely helpful and I’m constantly getting better after watching each one. Quick question though on these free plugins. I work in Logic and I’ve downloaded the free plug-ins from the links you provided above. I believe that I have successfully installed them, but I can’t use any of them in my projects. Do I have to import the plug-ins into Logic somehow? Thanks bud.

    • That’s fantastic to hear @bartslaughter:disqus! I unfortunately am not a Logic Expert, I use it with Stock Plug ins! If you ask the question in the Forum I’m sure one of the Academy members will know! Have a marvellous time recording and mixing, many thanks Warren

  • BobPederson

Thanks Warren, this is some awesomely helpful stuff. I’ve learned a ton from your videos and really appreciate them. I noticed a Yamaha head stock on one of your electric guitars. Is that a Pacifica?

    • Hi @BobPederson:disqus, yes indeed! I have 4 Yamaha Pacificas! I love them all! Have a marvellous time recording and mixing, many thanks Warren

  • Hi Warren / everyone, I have been looking out for some free VSTs to add to my collection that could help me try some of the techniques in video here at Produce Like a Pro. I needed a Delay that could have the left and right times unlinked and set independently for use with Dynamic Delay. I found a collection of 3 VST plugins (32 and 64 bit) on the Leslie Sanford web page which all seem to be very good so I thought I would share them with you all. They are:

Sanford Delay: A very nice fully featured delay that is controllable and delicate
Sanford Reverb: Also nice with independant control of 3 early reflections (left, right, time and pan)
Sanford Bass Tightener: A use full plugin that allows frequencies below a threshold to be mono while preserving the stereo pan of the higher frequencies

The web page does not give much information so I was really surprised how good these were when I got them into my DAW. As I am not a Pro Tools user I don’t know if these work in Pro Tools, sorry.

    The link is here: http://www.lesliesanford.com/vst/plugins

    Have fun – Mark

  • Allowance Mo Anak

Hi Warren! Thank you for all these tips. I wonder if there is a free plugin out there that simulates the Tubetech preamp MP1A? I used the hardware and it sounds great but cant afford the $500 tag price.

    • That’s a great question @allowancemoanak:disqus! Unfortunately I don’t know of there is a specific emulation of that piece of hardware! Have a marvellous time recording and mixing, many thanks Warren

  • Allowance Mo Anak

Any plugins out there simulating this? Tubetech mp1a

  • Martin Hillary

  • Jackson Slade

I’m recently new to Protools. I purchased a used version of Le 8.05 combined with M-box2 Mini…I’ve been watching your tutorials. You’ve taught me allot I’ve been an Analog Reel to Reel man for many years…and the last 12 yrs Tascam 2488 trac, which has taking on technical probs. I have windows 7.. where my PT is nestled down.. will these work on Le 8, and how do I pull them into my audiosuite

  • TGLE
