  2. Ren Scott Winkler says:

I thought that this was going to have a $200-300 price tag on it. For a $100 pedal the Nobel ODR1 sounds amaizing!
I use a vintage hand wired Vox amp and I absolutely love the sound of it but it just doesn’t drive the valves as much as I would like it to. I am definitely going to get the ODR-1 and it will likely be the only pedal that I play through since it has the drive sound that I have been looking for!
Thanks so much for taking the time to demo this for us Warren!

    1. Warren Huart says:

  10. Ian R Lewis says:

The question is what kind of amp was that really playing through and does the pedal have a tube in it? I can hear a huge Zeppelin influence in the playing also.

    1. Roy says:

Ah yes, +1, I’d like to know the amp used for this too!

      1. Warren Huart says:

Hi @disqus_8bTpacG5WP:disqus it was a Marshall JMP

        1. Roy says:

          Lovely, sounds great! Thanks Warren!

    2. Warren Huart says:

Hi @ianrlewis:disqus marvellous question! I was using my Marshall JMP set clean! The pedal doesn’t have a tube in it but sounds amazing doesn’t it? It’s no surprise it’s the go of so many guitarists!

      1. Ian R Lewis says:

It sounds really good. I used to have contests with many different guitarists when I was doing the live stuff. My theory was since they are joining my band and I write the stuff and have to focus on singing they need to have a better tone than me considering guitar was not my main function. I wish I had this pedal at that time. Maybe even in the future. I am wondering how it would stack up against the natural distortion of your amp.
